BIO
I am Alisha M. Bridges, and my journey is one of resilience and advocacy. For more than three decades, I've faced the challenges of severe plaque psoriasis, transforming my personal struggle into a catalyst for change.
For over a decade, my passion has driven me to advocate tirelessly for those navigating chronic illness, with a specific focus on psoriasis and mental health.
Raised by my grandparents due to my parents' battles with drug addiction, I encountered feelings of abandonment that compounded the challenges of living with a visible chronic condition.
Nevertheless, these experiences ignited my unwavering commitment to self-help, personal development, and healing childhood trauma.
My insights and advocacy efforts have earned recognition and been featured in esteemed publications such as Women's Health Magazine, WebMD, Medium, and other influential platforms. Along the way, I've received prestigious awards for my writing and advocacy work.
Originally hailing from Belleville, Michigan, I now proudly call Atlanta, GA, my home. I hold a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Alabama State University.
